Northampton Elementary Principal Named District Elementary Principal of the Year

Northampton Elementary Principal Ms. Lisa Campell has been named Klein ISD's 2024 Elementary Principal of the Year.

Ms. Campbell is a fantastic leader, coach, and mentor who remains calm under pressure. She is known to be a growth-minded, positive leader who always looks for solutions to make things better for her students and community.

"Ms. Lisa Campbell is a dedicated leader. Lisa's journey from teacher to principal showcases her commitment to growth and excellence," Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown said. "Her ability to foster trust, collaboration, and thrive in high-pressure situations reveals her as a servant leader. Lisa's impact extends beyond her school, uplifting the entire Klein ISD community with generosity and a positive outlook. This well-deserved recognition reflects her invaluable contributions to Klein ISD and public education. Congratulations, Principal Campbell, for this well-deserved recognition by our Klein Family!"

This beloved principal is a true exemplar of a relationship-driven leader. Ms. Campbell has been described as working hard to establish a culture of trust, partnership, and collaboration while consistently displaying a sense of possibility, optimism, and hope.

"I am incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by an exceptional staff and an amazing team," Ms. Campbell said. "My love for my school runs deep, and I am sincerely grateful for being considered for this honor. This past year has been a profound learning experience, and I've had the privilege of working with departments I hadn't engaged with before. Thank you all for your help and support this school year."

The Northampton principal began her career in Klein ISD as a teacher at Brill Elementary, Kuehnle Elementary, and Ehrhardt Elementary. Ms. Campbell became an assistant principal at Mueller Elementary and an associate principal at Haude Elementary. She then earned the position of principal at Northampton Elementary in 2019.

Ms. Campbell always looks for ways to help all Klein ISD principals and schools improve by leading professional development and sharing systems that other campus leaders can replicate for the success of their students.

A highlight of this school year is the new state-of-the-art Klein ISD Flex School—the temporary home of our Northampton Colts as their aging campus sees significant renovations.

Ms. Campbell has embraced and led the way in remodeling her campus as Northampton undergoes renovations, thanks to the 2022 bond. Ms. Campbell's leadership has made the transition smooth and seamless for her staff, students, and community.

Ms. Campbell is an exemplary servant leader who strives for excellence for every student, and our Klein Family is so lucky to have her at the helm of Northampton Elementary. Please join Klein ISD in congratulating Ms. Lisa Campbell as our 2024 Elementary Principal of the Year.
