We’re so excited to welcome author Raj Haldar to Northampton on October 8! Our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders will get to hear about his books, learn a little about the writing process, and find out what it’s really like to be an author.
Families in any grade are welcome to purchase a signed copy of What Rhymes with Pterodactyl?! for $18.99. These visits are such a fun opportunity for our students, and book purchases help make it possible for us to continue bringing authors to campus at no cost to our school.

KISD Community flyer Howl-O-Ween Pet Event on Monday, October 12th from 4:00 - 6:00 PM! The event is in partnership with Active Paws Rescue for information Jacqueline Poole <jacqueline@lippincottteam.com> with Active Paws Rescue who will be hosting a dog adoption in our lot for people to come out to see if they would be a great fit for their family. We also will be collecting donations on behalf of the rescue group and encouraging patrons to connect! We will be offering tea specials, we will have a free Halloween themed pet photo booth area for people to get pics of their own pets with a local professional photographer, raffle off a few prizes and will have a TX BBQ food truck on site!

Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade can explore engineering concepts through fun, hands-on LEGO Education builds. They will learn about levers, gears, pulleys, wheels, and axles while creating all-new projects with elementary teachers and WOW instructors.
Classes will be held on Wednesdays from 3:30–4:30 p.m., beginning September 2. The cost is $190 for 10 weeks.

Classes will be held on Tuesdays from 3:45–4:45 p.m., beginning September 8 and continuing through December 15. The program includes 12 classes.
Registration is $75, followed by three payments of $74, which comes out to less than $25 per class.
